CHRISTMAS EVE | 8PM
In the lead up to our CAROLS online video this Christmas Eve, we’ve set the goal of getting 50 hosts to fill their homes to watch the service. Whether it’s your neighbours, friends or church family, this is an opportunity to share the news of Christ Jesus in a unique way. Fill your living room, get your TV in your backyard or even out on the driveway, and be one of our hosts for CAROLS 2020.
To register, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Check out the videos below to find out more.

Why can't we have a carols service at church?
Ah COVID! We would love more than anything else to bring hundreds and hundreds of people into our church building for a massive carols service, just like we do every other year. But as you can imagine, putting together these services takes a lot of planning and time. We had to make a final decision about what we would do in mid-October and at that time only 100 people were allowed in the church building. That has eased to 170 people since then, but with no singing (we normally get 900-1000 people through our church on Christmas Eve services). We found out only a few days ago that we could do an outdoor service for up to 500 people with facemasks for singing, social distancing, COVID marshalls, cordoning off the site, ticketing and the 4m2 restriction. This still isn’t big enough and it would be too much, too late for us to organise. We’re praying that God uses this change in circumstances to reach even more people than we would if we had a service in the church building.
I’d like to join at someone’s home - how can I do that?
Get in touch with us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we’ll try and link you up.
I’ve got space for more people at my home - do you know anyone who would like to come?
Amazing! Yes please let us know (email@example.com) and we’ll try and link you up.
It’s a pre-recorded service, but will there be any kind of live element on the night?
Yes! There will be a live chat function and we will encourage everyone to post a photo of their home Christmas Carol service on Instagram and Facebook with #somethingsdontchange.
The carols service premieres at 8pm, but what if another time would work better for my home?
Please get in touch with us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can arrange to send you a private link of the service on the morning of 24/12 for you to use at any time you like on the day.
