Micky has been the Rector at St Thomas’ since September 2021. He grew up in Brisbane and moved to the UK for University where he remained working in Christian ministry and in Finance. He returned to Australia in 2012 to complete the Bachelor of Divinity at Moore Theological College. After College he served as an Assistant Minister at St Helen’s Bishopsgate in London. Micky is married to Ellie and they have three children – Jono, Olivia and Theo.
Craig has just commenced his 20th year as an Anglican Minister in the diocese of Sydney and has served in a variety of ministry roles over this time. He has served as the Senior Chaplain at St Andrews Cathedral School, the Senior Assistant Minister at Norwest Anglican Church and more recently as a Marriage and Family Counsellor with Anglicare and the Family Systems Practice. He loves working with individuals and families encouraging them to be disciple makers on mission for Jesus. He counts himself blessed to be married to Terese and loves spending time with his four grown-up children – Chole, Ed, Hugo and Joanna.
Bailey joined St Thomas in January 2025 and serves as the Director of Music Ministry for the 10am and 5pm congregations. He has completed a Diploma of Christian Studies with Youthworks Year 13 as well as a Bachelor of Music through Excelsia University College and has many years of experience serving in music ministry. Prior to joining the staff team at St Thomas he has worked as a childcare educator and music tutor. In his spare time Bailey loves spending time with his wife Lina, playing football (soccer) and playing his guitar.
Once dead in my trespasses until God made me alive together with Jesus, having forgiven me all my trespasses, by cancelling the record of debt that stood against me, nailing it to the cross.
Now I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
Dom is a Student Minister in the 5pm congregation and a student at Moore College. He grew up in Singapore and put his faith in Jesus as a child, but it was in university when he was struck by the power of God’s Word to give life and the need to listen to it. He has set his medical career aside to be equipped to proclaim God’s gospel of eternal life back in Singapore. He is married to Gillian and they have two children.
Jono began as a student minister at St Thomas’s in January 2025. He grew up in Sydney and in the Southern Highlands of NSW, and studied Creative Writing & English Lit at the University of Wollongong. Having grown up with parents who modelled what it meant to love Jesus it was at uni that Jono was challenged to consider serving the Lord Jesus full time in gospel ministry.
Jono is married to Emily and they have one very cute baby girl! They are excited to be part of St Thomas’ at the 10am service.
Mark was born and raised in Northern Ireland, where he studied medicine at university. Working as a doctor, he moved to Australia in 2021 and began studying at Moore Theological College in 2024. As a student minister, Mark attends the 5pm congregation at St Thomas’ and is involved in running the LIFE course. He is passionate about seeing people move from spiritual death to new life in Christ!
Ewen is married to Catherine and they have been “10am members” of St Thomas since 1995. Ewen has previously served on our parish council. He is currently a board member of the Sydney Diocese entities: Anglican Church Growth Corporation and New Churches for New Communities. He was a board member of Mission Australia a non-denominational Christian community service organisation for more than 20 years including over 7 years as Chairman.
Ewen and Catherine have 3 married children and 3 grandchildren – Jonathan and Catherine are also members of St Thomas.
Ewen’s professional career was as a lawyer. He joined Allens as a clerk in 1979 in his final year of law school ultimately becoming chairman of partners in 2008. He stepped down from Allens in January 2013 to accept appointment to the board of Westpac where he served til December 2019. Currently he is chairman of Corporate Travel Management Ltd and a non-executive director of BlueScope Steel Ltd. He has also served on a number of other commercial and not-for-profit boards.
Peter Procopio is an experienced Civil Engineer and Construction Leader with over 30 years in the building and construction industry. Since graduating from the University of New South Wales in 1991, he has built a strong reputation delivering complex, large-scale projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
Peter’s career is grounded in hands-on project and construction management, with extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing projects from early feasibility through to completion. He has held senior roles with leading organisations including John Holland, Paynter Dixon, TOGA, and Leighton Contractors, as well as operating his own development company. Peter currently holds the position of General Manager – Property Development at Anglicare.
Most recently, Peter has been involved in a range of residential development projects across Sydney, working both client-side and contractor-side. His project experience includes major developments such as the Sydney Metro Waterloo Integrated Station Development, large-scale residential apartment projects, and high-profile mixed-use precincts.
Peter brings deep expertise in construction methodology, stakeholder management, design coordination, and commercial delivery. He is known for his ability to manage complex interfaces, navigate challenging project conditions, and deliver outcomes aligned with both commercial and client objectives.
Throughout his career, Peter has demonstrated strong leadership, clear communication, and a practical, solutions-focused approach. He is passionate about continuing to contribute to high-quality projects and working collaboratively with established teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Geoff has been attending St Thomas’ with his wife Jenny for about 10 years, mainly the 10am service, although they have joined the 8am service on many occasions. They are part of a Wednesday night home group – a real joy to study and share God’s word together. Over the last 10 years Geoff has been working at HammondCare, mainly as the CFO, and over the last 2 years he has scaled back towards retirement that will be realised by June 2023.
Geoff has a background in accounting and finance, and has worked in public accounting, banking, reinsurance, property and aged health care.
