Dear friends
As those of you who read our weekly bulletin letters know, for many weeks now I have been reflecting with you on the subject of prayer. I have been doing so not because I am an expert on this subject. I assure you I am not. But it seems to me to be so important, so wonderful, and indeed so mysterious, that nothing could be better for the health of a church family than that we learn to pray more consistently, more authentically and more joyfully.
Through the next three weeks we will have a Winter Series of sermons that I hope will deepen our appreciation and motivation to learn to pray more like that. I hope that you might consider coming to church morning and evening for these three weeks to share in the whole series.
